Wazar the Cruel, also spelled Wazir the Cruel or Wasr the Cruel,[2a] was the Arabyan emir charged with conquering the city of Magritta in Estalia during the Great Crusades. He was defeated during the siege of Magritta, ending the Arabyan presence on the Estalian peninsula. The emir himself was crushed to death alongside his elite Black Scimitar Guard under the weight of a statue of Myrmidia, at the moment when Wazar appeared to be winning the battle.[1a]
