Not to be confused with the Warhammer: Vermintide series of videogames.

Vermintide is often ministered by Grey Seers, the Horned Rats favoured emissaries.
Vermintide is the annual holiday feast honouring the glory of the Great Horned Rat. It also commemorated the reunification of the Under-Empire during the Great War against Chaos in 2302 IC.[1a]
When Seerlord Kritislik and his Priesthood held that year's annual Vermintide, they conducted a ritual which saw their god manifest himself to pass judgement upon the great horde of Warlords and Chieftains which gathered to see him. His manifestation saw the creation of the Pillar of Commandments and the reinstitution of the Council of Thirteen.[1a]
The Council was completely reorganised and all large-scale "hostilities" between the Skaven clans were ended almost immediately. The Under-Empire has been unified, in whole or in part, ever since.[1a]
Trivia[]
Vermintide is also a petty spell of the Grey Seers in the Lore of the Warp and Lore of Plague. It is a spell which summons rats to devour a foe.
