"We are not here to whine about the past. The failures of the past do not concern this Council. It is the promise of the future that is our focus."

Verminkin, on Council Matters

Verminkin, Packlord of Moulders or simply Lord Verminkin, is the current ruler of the Skaven Clan Moulder and a member of the Under-Empire's ruling Council of Thirteen. As one would expect of the ultimate commander of Clan Moulder, Verminkin is heavily mutated. He is a bulbous, mounded lump of muscle and sinew and possesses multiple heads.[1a][2a]

Verminkin is particularly odd among the mutators of Clan Moulder for he is a two-headed ratman. Technically two individuals sharing one body and name, these heads often argue and lob recriminations at one another, in true Skaven fashion, despite literally being the closest of spawnkin.[3a]

Occupying the 11th seat of the Council of Thirteen, the Packlord had a curious affinity for the overlord of Clan Skryre, Morskittar. This was due in part to the collaborations the two Great Clans occasionally engaged in, creating such monstrosities as the Stormfiend. This favour manifested in the two Lords of Decay voting in-line with Morskittar on the council in order to please him.[3a]

However, this amity was only a part of a larger scheme. Both Clan Pestilens and Clan Skryre view the flesh crafters of Moulder as their greatest ally. The beasts of Clan Moulder, while certainly fearsome and deadly, were notably short on intelligence. This is how the packlord and his lieutenants wished it to be; their personal creations, however, had the boons of both brawn and brain.[4a]

Verminkin sat at the pinnacle of Clan Moulder's hierarchy, with his lieutenants, the Lords of Hell Pit, directly beneath him.[4a] Skweel Gnawtooth was another Skaven who came to the notice of Verminkin. He never allowed the Packmaster to be loaned out to the service of other clans for too long.[5a]
