Velsquee was an ancient Skaven Grey Lord who was active near the beginning of Skaven history. He hailed from Clan Abbis, but was dispatched to Clan Rikek in order to break the stalemate between the Skaven forces and the Undead hordes of Nagash in the battle for control of Nagashizzar and its great veins of Warpstone.[2a]
It was Velsquee who came up with the solution to arm Nagash's prisoner, Prince Alcadizaar, with the Fellblade so that the necromancer could be slain without putting any Skaven lives in danger.[2a]
Velsquee was an older Skaven with dark-fur. He was covered in finery: a bronze harness chased with gold, Warpstone tokens hanging from his neck, and a single large pendant of Warpstone the size of an egg affixed to the pommel of the curved sword at his hip. He was a lean ratman, scarred by battle. A fearsome scar sprinted down his face and a triangular notch had been taken out of his ear. His eyes were dark and his frame was broad. Like all Grey Lords, Velsquee was clad in fine ashen robes.[1a]
