Veddia is a poor Tilean hamlet, also known for the Battle of Via Veddia one of the three great battles which saw Borgio the Besieger as winner against the City-State of Verezzo.[1a]

Veddia's name is a pun about a Latin word used in the celeb phrase, "Venni, vidi, vici" of Julius Caesar.
