"It is important to me to fight. I have a choice, to fight or to surrender. You gave up. You lacked the strength and the courage, and it is the weak such as you who allow Chaos to endure."
- —Ursula Scheck, to Sutenvulf Daemonkin.[3]

Ursula Schek, battling the one she lost to Chaos.
The holy Ursula Schek was a pure and true weapon of Sigmar. Slayer of Daemons, smiter of that which is unholy and tainted, her unwavering faith and devotion to the light has seen to the eradication of many of the Empire's unwitting foes. She has lead mercenaries, imperial armies, and finally a grand collection of devoted followers and flagellants in one enormous holy war-host, and drove her believers towards one final cataclysmic confrontation against Chaos known as The Battle of a Thousand Winters. It was she who was amongst the first ever Sisters of Sigmar and helped aid in the founding of the convent in Mordheim long before human decadence had seen to the eradication of the great city, though her self-imposed vow of silence in her elder-years had caused her name and efforts to become unknown by later followers of Sigmar.[3]
It was she who slayed the dreaded Sutenvulf Daemonkin, and had been his lover long before his transformation when he was still known as Kurt Leitzig. While fate drove his every step closer to the clutches of Chaos, so too did fate bring Ursula ever closer to the graceful hand of Sigmar and the light. Those around Ursula in her earlier years of life denouced her of practicing witchcraft and madness since she was blessed with a burning passion and sporadic holy visions which guided her many decisions, though she came to understand that it was Sigmar who granted these visions as she was chosen to carry out his holy will.[2]
When she lost Kurt fully to the dark, she traveled all over the fractured Empire during the Age of Three Emperors, overcoming the many and deadly trials Sigmar had set for her. Along the way she gathered many allies and followers as she preached Sigmar's holiness and honed her martial ability with every skirmish she participated in. During these trials she came into possesion of Ulfshard, an enchanted blade of elven orgin. When she was granted the vision of the upcoming battle against Chaos, she gathered a throng of friends and religious fanatics into what would be known as The Gold Company, and marched her army towards Troll Country to aid in the defence of the Kislevites and Ostlanders. When her army collided with the chaotic warhost, she clashed blades with her former lover who by now completed his transformation into a Daemon Prince. The two battled in a duel of god-like proportions, but Ursula's firey-hot faith burned even hotter than the flaming sword Sutenvulf wielded. She struck down the Daemon with her enchanted elven blade, and her holy throng triumphed on that day of slaughter. But before Sutenvulf was banished back to the Realm of Chaos, he revealed terrible truths that would invoke Ursula into comitting herself to a life of penance for the remainder of her years.[3]
