Ten-Zlati conversion from White Dwarf 306[1b]
Ten-Zlati, also known as "The Oracle of Kroak," is a Skink Priest of the Lizardmen temple-city of Itza who serves as a vessel for the Slann Lord Kroak.
History[]
Of the Skink Priests who have Spirit-Melded with the venerable Slann Lord Kroak, many have found themselves spiritually enriched, but physically stricken by the experience. Ten-Zlati, however, is different, for he has acted as a conduit for the Relic-Priest's powers on many occasions, yet has suffered no ill-effects.[1a]
Besides his good physical condition, Ten-Zlati is able to serve Kroak particularly well because, unusually for a Skink Priest, he is a highly skilled rider of the winged Terradons. [1a]
Thus, Ten-Zlati travels far and wide upon the back of his Terradon, Zwup, and Kroak's spirit is always able to act through him, no matter how far he is from Itza -- something of a great advantage to the Lizardmen empire.[1a]
Wargear[]
- Venom of the Firefly Frog - This intense poison is distilled from the glands of the rare and deadly firefly frog. When applied to weapons, it can cause even the tiniest scratch to become inflamed, and ultimately fatal.[1b]
Game History[]
Zwup is also the name of the Skink character Tiktaq'to's Terradon mount. Its possible that Ten-Zlati was the original template Games Workshop used to create Tiktaq'to, in the same way that Lotl-Botl was the old version of Chakax before Chakax came to replace him.
