Tahoth, also called the "Scholar of the Gods," is the patron god of knowledge and wisdom in the Nehekharan Pantheon. He appears as a slender but fit man with the head of an ibis and can also appear as an ibis with silver feathers.[1a]
It is said that Tahoth taught the ancient Nehekharans how to build edifices of stone and how to properly construct temples.[2a]
Trivia[]
Tahoth was based on Thoth or Djehuthy, the Egyptian god of wisdom and writing. Both gods are associated with the ibis.
