Subatuun, also called "The City Below," is an ancient Lizardmen temple-city constructed in Lustria after the Great Catastrophe.
Subatuun was built in the tunnels below the tropical jungles of Lustria. It was abandoned when the Skaven arrived, but later resettled by the Lizardmen on the orders of the Slann Lord Mazdamundi, the ruler of Hexoatl. It now serves as a military encampment, a central base from which the Cold One Riders tasked with patrolling the tunnels can operate.[1a]
