Soreil, or Tor Soreil, as it was known by the High Elves when they first settled it, is a Bretonnian port city located in the Dukedom of Lyonesse.[1a][1b]
One of the few spheres of influence that the High Elves have on the shores of the Old World, the port-enclave of Tor Soleil is nestled within the lands of Lyonesse. Given the vast quantities of High Elven wine and finely-crafted garments imported from Ulthuan, this port is well-defended from external threats by its own garrison and the knights of Bretonnia.[2a]
Soreil features a large central square dominated by a statue of a Pegasus.[1a][1b]
History[]
Bounties[]
2517 IC has been a rough year for Soreil. The biggest sugar merchant in Soreil has been killed, and Dark Elf ships raided its coasts.[1b]
Espionage[]
The men-at-arms of Soreil have received a report that there is a spy stowed aboard a Tobaran wolfship, the Aureo, looking to sneak into Soreil. They are hiding amongst a trade delegation the local authorities can't act directly against without unintended political and economic consequences.[1b]
