The Shroud of Magnus is the shroud laid upon Magnus the Pious for his burial.[1a] At the Emperor's funeral in 2369 IC, the Grand Theogonist of Sigmar examined the deceased statesman's burial shroud, and found that his features had become imprinted upon it. The event became known as the "Miracle of the Shroud."[2a] Today, his likeness can still be seen on the shroud.[1a] It is kept in the reliquary of the Holy Temple of Sigmar[3a] and is sometimes taken into battle by the heroes of the Empire. It seems to have a protective power, particularly against magical attacks.[1a]

It would also become part of a scandal wrought by the machinations of Tzeentch.[2a]
