The Order of Scalebearers is a priestly order and school of thought within the Cult of Verena that focus on her aspect as the judge and arbiter.[1a][2a] They believe justice is more important than learning, and they act as mediators. Scalebearers are sometimes assisted in their duties by templars from the Order of the Scale and Sword.[1a] Old Worlders seek out members of the Scalebearers to act as judges and mediators, for their famed impartiality and legal knowledge.[2a]
