The botanist Salvadore Laturni was a Tilean gentleman. He voyaged up the Estalian coast despite the threat of the Butcher Ship, collecting rare specimens of plants such as “The Midnight Silhouette”, “The Crown of Tobaro”, and "The Flame of Estal”.[1a]
His courage cost him dearly since he was murdered by the Butcher Ship. His fate has befallen him shortly after he recorded the Flame of Estal a plant that grows only near Porto Espejo and the Golfo Naranja.[1a]
