Commandant Otto Kross
Otto Kross was a bully and a tyrant, his grubby soul calloused by nearly thirty years' military service. He regarded command of Heldenhame's defences as a rightful reward for his loyalty, and didn't care who knew it. Kross left most of his day to day duties to the officers under his command, and could variously be found in Heldenhame's taverns, or sleeping off the previous night's bounty from innkeepers too afraid to turn him away.[1a]
