House Udolpho's estate was located in the hamlet of Udolpho in northern Tilea in the Principality of Miragliano. However, during the period when this map was created in ca. 2276 IC, Udolpho was still part of the Principality of Tobaro.
Otranto Udolpho was a maverick Tilean necromancer of House of Udolpho in the Principality of Miragliano.[1a][2a]
In 2418 IC he tried to conquer the Udolpho estate, during the last family war against his brother, Old Melmoth. He was at the head of an army consisting of undead troops and a regiment of Daemonettes.[1a][2a]
He seems to be dead and not part of the curse of the estate anymore.[2a]

Otranto Udolpho's name is taken from Otranto, a coastal town, port and comune in the province of Lecce (Apulia, Italy).
