A Necrolith Bone Dragon is a mighty Undead Dragon ridden into battle by the Tomb Kings and Liche Priests of ancient Nehekhara.

Long ago, when Nehekhara, the first civilisation of Men, was at the height of its power, its rival priest-kings clashed with each other -- and with the mighty Dragons that stalked the Worlds Edge Mountains to the east. Many of these great wyrms were slain, and others bound to the priest-kings' will as beasts of battle.[1]
Of those Dragons taken as mounts, many were slain, struck down in battle, their carcasses left to wither to dust in the desert heat. But when Nagash undertook his great necromantic ritual and cast the Great Awakening, raising the dead of all the land into a shadowy unlife, the bones of these behemoths also stirred.[2a]
Millennia later, the sand-blasted corpses of these regal behemoths have been reanimated by the Mortuary Cult, once more bending them to the will of the Undead Tomb Kings of the Land of the Dead.[1]
