"What's this?' Sigvald gasped, touching the blood as he climbed to his feet and backed away from his opponent.
"Punishment,' grunted Mord Huk...

Sigvald faces Mord Huk in battle.[1]

The Mark of Khorne

Mord Huk was a hulking Champion of Khorne and the chief rival of Sigvald the Magnificent, the infamous Champion of Slaanesh.

History[]

Mord Huk was a truly fearsome warrior. Standing over eight feet tall, he was "blessed" with the mutant head of a ferocious hound, which he hid inside a skull-shaped helmet made of brass. His blood-red Chaos Armour was thick, jagged and scored with dozens of infernal, pulsing runes of the Dark Tongue. In combat, he wielded a giant, two-handed greatsword, blessed by the Blood God himself, and rode upon a great Juggernaut.[1]

Such was Mord Huk's might that he was capable of besting Sigvald the Magnificent, one of Slaanesh's most favoured Exalted Heroes. Alas, before he could land the killing blow, Mord Huk was tackled by one of the Slaaneshi Chaos Champion's crazed followers, giving Sigvald enough time to recover and strike the Khornate's feral head from his shoulders...[1]

Trivia[]

Mord Huk's name is Old Norse in origin, being derived etymologically from morð, the Old Norse word meaning "murder." His second name, Huk, may similarly be derived from the Norwegian Bokmål word huk, which means a "loud noise."
