I saw you were wondering earlier about the difference between bolding something with 2 or 3 apostrophes. Two apostrophes renders italics.Three apostrophes renders bold. That's the difference.
I notice that you've been changing the names of a lot of sources from italics to bold. Generally we put them in italics. However, this is a somewhat minor concern--you have likely noticed that there's little consistency in the precise way sources are named on this wiki.
I don't mean to be condescending, but you keep adding links to pages on the Spanish wiki that do not exist. I'm looking at, for example, your recent edit to Imperial Noble. You added the text es:Imperial Noble at the bottom of the page. This creates a little link in the upper right of the article to an article on the Spanish version of the Warhammer Wiki. (It's above the button that says "share." Mouse over the word "English" and it will open a drop-down with the link.)
The point of this is to create links to the Spanish version of that page. I'm not sure why you are creating these links to pages on the spanish wiki that do not exist, and have English titles anyway.
I would appreciate it if you could revert those edits.
If so, Thats not me. Those links already existed on the pages and it seems to be everywhere.
Initially I left them alone because I thought maybe, because we have a spanish counterpart, that spanish people could use it too and I didn't want to cut them off unnecessarily. But as times went on, I've avoided them just because there are so many and I wanted there to be proof of that fact lying around so I could reference it if somebody asks (like right now)
I Assume they're there because either one of the original founders was from the spanish site or got help from the spanish site.
or alternatively, someone has copy-pasted entire pages from the spanish site and just put it through google translate (some of our pages look eerily similar and it'd explain alot of the singular grammer that was used and so on.
What happened was, when I started editing I was noticing that alot of the pages have hidden links to the spanish site, not just with "es:" at the beginning, but with a spanish name as well.
I misunderstood that es would take you to the spanish site, I just thought it was the code for "ink to x" so since I noticed it everywhere, I've been adding an english equivolent without dleleting the spanish ones.
My mistake. Should I delete both? just get rid of my one? or make an english equivolent?
ok phew, that took way longer than id hoped, but i just went back through literally every page in my edit history and got rid of them.
there might still be 2 or so hanging around, the reason i didnt delete them is because its the same word in spanish and so i cant tell if its an original or one of mine.
sorry again for doing that, i should have fully researched what it was before i started blindly adding it.
i just realised you already answered my catagory question, just that it was in a different thread and i didnt see it. thank you for that and i agree, i had the same concern, but i think it turned out for the better.
Ill have to discuss it with the admins properly before i go any further.
