The Megaladon,[1a] also known as Megalodon,[3a] is a little known species of shark, four or five times as large as its nearest relative. In common with other sharks, it is an efficient and ruthless marine predator.[1a][3a]
A Megaladon is among those sea beasts such as the Kraken and Sea Dragon that have destroyed convoy ships from Grand Cathay and vessels plying the coasts of Bretonnia and Estalia.[2a]
