The regiment of Tomb Guard known as the Lahmian Guard, the Undead honour guard of Queen Neferata of Lahmia.
The Lahmian Guard was a regiment of Tomb Guard whose origins lay in ancient Nehekhara. In life they had served as the royal guard of Queen Neferata of the city-state of Lahmia and they continued to serve her after death. As the Vampires who ruled Lahmia in its final age gained in strength and confidence, it was only natural for Neferata to use necromantic magic to ensure that even upon their deaths her elite guards would not leave her service.[1a]
The Lahmian Guard bore gold and turquoise livery, and their banner was the crested jackal of the long-lost city of Lahmia – an ancient heirloom of potent magical properties.[1a]
