The Kraken is a giant, squid-like creature with hundreds of tentacles that end in cruel suckers and vicious barbs. It grabs its prey with these appendages and propels them into its evilly beaked mouth. There are many tales of Kraken emptying ships of crew and leaving them ravaged and drifting with no sails or masts left standing on their destroyed decks.[1a]
The Kraken is among those sea beasts that have destroyed convoy ships from Grand Cathay and vessels plying the coasts of Bretonnia and Estalia.[3a]

- Rot-kraken - Rot-kraken are mutated Kraken living in the Sea of Chaos whose passage leaves oily slicks of diseased fluids.[4a]
