Khezula Sheerian was a Daemonic Chaos Sorcerer dedicated to Tzeentch. The magical gem called the Eye of Sheerian is named after him.
Sheerian appeared before Archaon when the Chaos Champion had been betrayed by his allies. Originally summoned by the traitorous Chaos Sorcerers Spasskov to reveal the incantation for the summoning of the Chaos Dragon Yien-Ya-Long, the ritual backfired, killing the brothers and trapping Sheerian within their fusion of Chaos Spawn known as the "Fleshstorm," where he met Archaon.[1a]
Mocking Archaon, Sheerian told him to seek the Black Meridian to find the Six Treasures of Chaos needed to acclaimed as the next Everchosen.[1a] Sheerian summoned Yien-Ya-Long on Archaon's request, but was devoured by it, just as the Eye had prophesied.[1b] While being assimilated into the Chaos Dragon's essence, Sheerian was saved by Archaon, who demanded his service in exchange. Sheerian obliged and his first act for the future Everchosen was to banish Yien-Ya-long back into the Realm of Chaos.[1c]
Sheerian served Archaon in hope of regaining the Eye of Sheerian, and guided him through the ever-twisting Southern Wastes of Chaos and acting as a translator to the Beastfiend hordes that lived there.[2a] He was taken captive by Agrammon when Archaon tamed the Chaos Steed Dorghar and advised him against crossing the Polar Gates to reach the north.[2b]
Sheerian accompanied Archaon on his travels throughout the world, training the Chaos sorcerers that would join the future Everchosen's host. When Archaon commanded him to summon Be'lakor and bind him in iron in order to force the Daemon Prince to reveal the location of the First Shrine of Chaos, Sheerian was slain when the iron prison of Be'lakor shattered. The sorcerer drizzled away in otherworldly flame, returning to the Realm of Chaos.[2d]
When Archaon first met him, Sheerian had the form of an ancient, wizened man with a hunchback, whose foot was scaled and clawed like the talon of a bird, allowing him only to hobble.[1a] After passing through the southern Polar Gate, the Daemonic sorcerer found himself rejuvenated and newly empowered.[2c]
Sheerian's accent reminded Archaon of the eastern lands, implying that he might have originated in Cathay, Nippon or Khuresh. [1a]
