Khakkekk is a minor Goblin deity.[1a]
Overview[]
Khakkekk is a fairly bloody Goblin deity who resembles Khorne, the Chaos Blood-God, in many particulars. Khakkekk accepts tributes of blood, but he does allow his servants to use some magic.[1a]
The Bloodied Nose Goblins (a splinter group of the Broken Nose Tribe residing in the ruins of Kadar Khalizad) were inducted in the cult of Khakkekk by the self-styled "Blood-Wizard" Ratscrote Boggobbler.[1a] He learnt his first magic from an old Dwarf Necromancer, whose family then sold him to a priest of Khakkekk as a sacrifice.[1b]
Something in the young Ratscrote's wicked nature saved him from the knife, however, and he was taught some of the rites of Khakkekk instead. Ratscrote never forgot this favour, even as he plunged the ceremonial dagger into his benefactor's heart, and then returned to his tribe and did his best to convert the Goblins to his new faith.[1b]
Perhaps Ratscrote's prayers and rites have had some effect, because, depending on your point of view, the Bloodied Nose Goblins have suffered from mutation, or are marked out as the favoured of Khakkekk.[1a]
Canonicity[]
Khakkekk has never been mentioned again in official publications since this minor reference - it is therefore hard to say if it remains canonical.
It is also unclear whether the priest who taught Ratscrote the ways of this god was also a Greenskin.
