Ketzak Fimdirach, sometimes called the "Restorer" by his kind, was a Fimir Balefiend, a male Fimir sorcerer of singular power, power seen only once in a generation among his benighted race. Able to heal even gaping, sucking wounds with his magic, it was said that to be a friend of Ketzak Fimdirach was to be a friend of all Fimir, and of fouler things which live in the caves and swamps of the mortal world.[1]
Though the Fimir have long since been abandoned by the malevolent gods of Chaos, the mysterious power of their Balefiend sorcerers are still frequently used in the service of the Ruinous Powers.[1]
Among these dark wizards, there are few more dedicated to the cause than Ketzak Fimdirach. A Balefiend of rare skill and intelligence, he is prophesised by the Meargh to restore greatness to the Fimir clans. Thus, a glorious destiny calls him forth on a quest of great importance to understanding the deepest arcane law of the world and wreak havoc in the name of his long-overlooked race.[1]
Ketzam Fimdirach and his Fimir followers served in the horde of the Nurglish Chaos Lord Tamurkhan, with the Restorer becoming one of the chieftains of the Maggot Lord's armies.[1]
