Kazad Thrund thrived to the north of the High Elven city of Tol Eldroth before the War of the Beard.
Kazad Thrund was a Dwarf fortified town on the Grudge Pass in an unknown part of the Old World near the High Elven city of Tol Eldroth in the days before the outbreak of the War of the Beard.[1a]
History[]
Kazad Thrund was founded by Thrund the Angry's clan after he was slain by Bronn the Bold. The Thrundlings named the city after him in honour of their dead leader and so the city is called, literally translated, "Thrund's Fortress." It is strategically located on the edge of the Grudge Pass, which connected the Dwarf empire of the Karaz Ankor and Krag Bryn, the city of Bronn the Bold. The Thrundlings wanted to cut off the hated enemy city from other Dwarf holds.[1a]
