Kazad Frukund is large Dwarf fort and the westernmost Dwarf stronghold of the Irrana Mountains on the Novalone Pass, with a garrison of about 230 adult Dwarfs. The fort is under the influence of Karak Eksfilaz a Dwarf hold in the the Vaults.^[1a]
