Karak Gnol, meaning "Old Hold" in Khazalid, is a now-abandoned Dwarf hold in the Grey Mountains. Its towers and buildings were built in a massive cavern, and included a great waterworks and expansive mining operations. The hold was overrun by the Skaven during the early End Times and served as the chief fortress and nest of Warlord Skarrik Spinemanglr of Clan Fester, before he was slain by a group of heroes known as the Ubersreik Five.[1]
