The Kaiserjaeger was the secret police force employed by Emperor Boris Goldgather in the Imperial capital of Altdorf during his reign against all he considered his political opponents.[1a]
The Kaiserjaeger were founded during the reign of Boris I Hohenbach, commonly known as Boris "Goldgatherer" for his monstrous avarice and inexhaustible greed. The Kaiserjaeger had originally been nothing more than a group of woodsmen who organised hunts for the sovereign and his guests. However, their power had been greatly expanded by their leader, the former peasant Adolf Kreyssig. Under Kreyssig's leadership, the organisation had become the private constabulary of the emperor, the secret police of Altdorf to be deployed against any who displeased the emperor.[1a]
