"Gunther Kolmar is dead, the beast took him while he battered it with his blessed hammer. Have neither seen nor heard it since. The Bloody Hidesman has taken his prey in the name of Taal and we left offerings in his wake. Kolmar was a fool, but we have his journal here in Badderhof to appease Sigmar."

An Incarnate Elemental of Beasts
The Incarnate Elemental of Beasts, also known as the Bloody Hidesman, the Horned Man or the Faceless Hunter, is an Elemental spirit born from the Wind of Ghur, summoned through savage and secret rituals known to few Men outside the initiates of the Amber Order of wizards and the Ungol Hag Mothers of Kislev, as well as the dark lore of the Bray-Shamans of the unholy Chaos Beastmen warherds.[1a][2]
An Incarnate Elemental of Beasts is a towering, half-Human figure that embodies the ferocity and merciless hunger of the wild and contains within itself the turbulent spirits of numberless predators, both animalistic and cruel. Its taut-sinewed form springs and bounds with ease through the densest wood or barren moor, running down its prey without mercy or cease and gorging on their flesh. Once it has brought them to ground it gores and rends its foes in an orgy of unrestrained bloodlust, whilst its howls alone can drive its enemies to flight in sheer horror.[1a][2]

The Ungol Hag Mother of Kislev, Mother Ostankya, uses her fel powers to summon an Incarnate Elemental of Beasts to defeat the foes of the Motherland.
Those masters of the hidden lore of Ghur speak of bloody rites to be performed before a great idol of beast skulls and freshly flensed hides should one dare to call upon the power of the Bloody Hidesman, and the terrible price of doing so. But such is the dire need of these endless days of warfare that when the land is threatened, or the commanding wizard's desire for destruction or vengeance is sufficiently great, then the power of this Incarnate Elemental is brought forth to devour its master's chosen prey.[1a][2]
Role[]
"Such a creature is driven by monstrous hunger, endlessly prowling for fresh meat."
- —Description of the Incarnate Elemental of Beasts in Total War: Warhammer III.

An Incarnate Elemental of Beasts can be summoned to embody the savage fury of the Motherland as its true children seek to defend themselves, as depicted here in Total War: Warhammer III.[2]
Summoned through savage and secret magical rituals known to very few, the Incarnate Elemental of Beasts is a monster plucked from the most chilling of legends. A grotesque and towering, half-Human figure, the beast embodies the ferocity and merciless hunger of the wild. Its taut-sinewed form springs and bounds with ease through the densest wood or barren moor, running down its prey without mercy or cease and gorging on their flesh in an orgy of unrestrained bloodlust.[2]
It is said that summoning such a monster bears a dark and terrible price. Yet, such is the dire need of these endless days of warfare that when one's homeland is threatened with utter ruin, the price is willingly paid, and the power of this Incarnate Elemental is brought forth to devour its wizard master's chosen prey.[2]
Abilities[]
- Howl of the Great Beast - So long as it is not already engaged in combat, this Incarnate Elemental of Beasts may unleash a piercing howl which freezes the blood of its enemies, damaging their morale and ability to resist the Elemental's assault.[1a]
