Hermann Fulke was an Artillery commander of Hochland at the Battle of Blood Hollow. Fulke is well-known throughout his native state, where he is considered a sort of folk hero. He is said to be the greatest artillery commander ever to have lived, with an instinctive knowledge of his weapons. He also has a reputation as a hard drinker with a dislike for authority, which only spreads his status further.[1a] Fulke drilled his men precisely to fire a constant bombardment. During battle, he was able to coax or bully them into working even faster.[1b]

At the Battle of Blood Hollow, Fulke masterminded the tactic of driving the orcs out of their ambushing positions using artillery fire.[1a]
