A Herald of Tzeentch
A Herald of Tzeentch is a more stable Pink Horror of Tzeentch, the Chaos God of change and intrigue, who has been granted a more exalted status and greater power by their divine patron, such that they often lead units of their less powerful brethren among the Architect of Fate's Daemonic armies.[1a]
As the magically fashioned slaves of Tzeentch, Horrors are considered automatons to be expended as part of a carefully wrought plan. Should a servant of greater power be required, Tzeentch will create a Herald of Tzeentch, a more stable type of Horror. Heralds are often the same lurid hue as Pink Horrors, but do not morph into a pair of Blue Horrors when struck. [1a]
Their unearthly powers are not to be taken lightly and they are close in their master's counsel, possessed of more powerful and devious intellects than those found among more typical Horrors of Tzeentch.[2a]
Such Daemons have enough consciousness to direct others of their kind without constant guidance from a Lord of Change, directing furious sorcery against Tzeentch's enemies. The mere presence of a Herald of Tzeentch drastically increases the abilities of nearby Tzeentchian Daemons, mutating them into new and stronger forms and enhancing the strength of their magic.[1a]
