The Hellforged Host is a regiment of Exalted Bloodletters, which marches to war equipped in heavier armour than their lesser Daemonic kin, granting them better protection against cowardly range attacks until they can bring glory to Khorne in the melee and making them a formidable line-breaking unit.
Once the Hungering Blades, the fiercest of Khorne's blades that have been given to the Host, taste blood nothing can stop the carnage that follows. Their Hellblades require far less offerings for Khorne to bless their wielders, allowing the Hellforged Host to enjoy the gifts on the Lord of Skulls for longer.[1]
