The Harbinger of Pain is a Black Ark of Naggaroth.^[1a]

History

Malekith commanded that the Ark carry the former High Elf Prince Kaldor to the Shadowlands where it was intended he would conquer the realm in the name of the Witch King.^[1a] Once they made landfall, Mortharor lead an initial attack on the lighthouse of Athel Maranth being met there in battle by Kelendar.^[1b]
