Graus is a village located in the Estalian Kingdom of Novareno.[2a][3a]
History[]
In the Battle of Graus, a squadron of ships clashed with a pirate fleet in the Golfe de Bidouze. After the battle, Captain Liane set out from Graus with a rescue fleet to search for survivors and reclaim the stolen loot from the pirates.[3b]
Game History[]
Graus was originally a fan-made settlement created by the freelance writer Alfred Nuñez Jr.. The village was mentioned for the first time in the computer game Man O' War: Corsair, and confirmed in Warhammer canon with the release of Warhammer: The Old World.[1]
At the time of the release of Man O' War: Corsair only Bilbali and Magritta were considered canon kingdoms of Estalia. So Graus was shown as a settlement under Bilbalian influence.[2a] The plot of the single-player campaign in Man O' War: Corsair is set in the year 2517 IC and all information about Graus thus comes from that era.[2b]
More information about Graus can be found on Alfred Nuñez Jr.'s website, but the canonicity of this additional lore has not yet been confirmed by Games Workshop.
