A Grail Monk accompanying a group of Men-at-Arms into battle.[2]
A Grail Monk is a zealous holy-man of the Cult of the Lady who follows Bretonnia's Men-at-Arms into battle.
Role[]
The rural areas of Bretonnia are dotted with many small Holy Grail monasteries, places of quiet solitude in which pious peasants dedicate their lives in devotion to the Lady of the Lake, Bretonnia's chief deity. In times of war, bold monks of the Cult of the Lady will march into battle beside the peasant levies to bring the Lady's blessings to all those who risk their lives in defence of her sacred land.[2]
Blessed Triptych[]
Often when members of Bretonnia's monastic orders march to war, they will carry with them a sacred triptych taken from their holy sanctum. In the presence of such relics, humble peasants find great courage and the will to be more stubborn against the assaults of the enemies of Bretonnia in the name of the Lady of the Lake.[2]
