Golengil Drongdorson

Golengil was a Runesmith that distinguished himself not by his actions in battle, but by the many Rune Weapons he created for the defence of the hold. A dedicated worshiper of Grungni, his greatest work was a two- handed hammer he named "The Wrath of Grungni". Knowing the value of the hammer and wanting to destroy it, Koros took the hammer from Golengil's sarcophagus and hid it away. In combat as a Wight, Golengil uses a two-handed hammer. He wears a ring on each of his forefingers -- one is made of Gromril and the other of gold.^[1a]
