Gnoblar Country is a large expanse of relatively lush-green hills which was once teeming with large tribes of Gnoblars from all across the Dark Lands and the Mountains of Mourn. However, due to its large population, massive slave-raids from the Chaos Dwarfs of the Black Fortress and the constant depredation from arrowhawks led to a drastic decrease in population numbers. Even the people of Pigbarter had a hand in their decimation, having had a fondness for the javelinn-based sport of runtspike. In time, many Goblin warrens have since been deserted, and the Gnoblar tribes have since moved to greener pastures.[1a]
