Giovanni Giuliani was or is a mercenary general in Tilea who defeated the Black Orc Warlord Gordug Gargskraga in the Battle of the Long Knives. This was not least due to the fact that Oglah Khan's Wolf Riders switched sides at the crucial moment. The Tilean general rewarded Oglah Khan generously, and subsequently hired the Hobgoblins as scouts.[1]
