Giovanni Giuliani is a Tilean mercenary general who has won a stunning victory against the great army of the Black Orc Warlord Gordug Smasher in the Battle of the Long Knives. This was not least due to the fact that Oglah Khan's Wolf Riders switched sides at the crucial moment. The Tilean general rewarded Oglah Khan generously, and subsequently hired the Hobgoblins as scouts.[1a][2a]
