The apathetic yet deadly Giant Frog.[1a]
Giant Carnivorous Frogs, know also simply as Giant Frogs, are a giant species of Lustrian amphibian that lives in the steaming backwaters of the Amoco-Cadiz river system.[1a]
Giant Carnivorous Frogs prey on just about any living animal it can fit into its accommodating stomach -- including the Lizardmen and Pygmies who hunt it. Pygmies maintain that these frogs make excellent eating and will spend hours enlightening a curious traveller about the myriad ways to cook a frog.[1a]
A Giant Frog's skin is poisonous and is used as the prime ingredient in blow-pipe poison, and in tiny amounts during the preparation of a potent Pygmy beverage.[1a]
Appearance[]
Although superficially a large and placid amphibian, the Giant Carnivorous Frog has a mouth full of long, razor-sharp teeth (prized by the Pygmies as toothpicks). It is about 5 or 6 feet long, green with black stripes, and possesses a vivid yellow belly.[1a]
