Geulata, formally the Kingdom of Geulata, is a kingdom of south-eastern Estalia allied with the Kingdom of Larhgoz.[1a]
Geulata borders the city-state of Vedenza of the Tilean Principality of Tobaro.[1a]
History[]
After the reconquest of Vedenza by the Tilean Principality of Tobaro, Geulata has harbored a spiteful and jealous desire to once again gain mastery over Vedenza and its lands.[1a]
This deep enmity, accentuated by the recent famine that spread to the southern Estalian kingdoms, led to the conflict known as the War of Beasts, in which the Estalian kingdom of Larhgoz, allied with its neighbour Geulata, waged war against Tobaro.[1a]
The Estalian army was ultimately defeated by the Tobaran forces and forced to flee. The Tileans were victorious, although the butcher's bill had been great, and the bells of the city of Vedenza peeled in joyous cacophony to greet their saviours.[1a]
Game History[]
Recent Warhammer publications have depicted the Estalian kingdoms' borders as split in two by the Irrana Mountains, dividing the realms under Magritta's influence in the south from those under Bilbali's influence in the north. This suggests -- much like the representation in Man O' War: Corsair -- that the minor kingdoms of Estalia fall under the influence of the two most powerful realms of Estalia.[2a][3a]
