Freydion Starwise is an eminent High Elven physician and professor of medicine living in the Imperial capital of Altdorf. He is an expert on Chaos-related mental afflictions. He uses hypnosis and dream analysis to distinguish Daemonic possession from true insanity.[1a]
He and other High Elven scholars have learned a great deal about the Realm of Chaos from possessed patients. Starwise advises the Shallyan nuns at the Great Altdorf Asylum. His reputation is such that Sigmarite Templar Witch Hunters who cannot extract a Daemon from a possessed individual may seek the aid of Professor Starwise.[1a]
