The great mercenary general, Ferrante the Fierce
Ferrante the Fierce was a great Tilean mercenary general.[1a]
Many centuries after the War of The Beard he built the fortress of Monte Castello on top of the ruins of an Elven fortress in order to guard the eastern approaches of Luccini from the sea.[1a]
Trivia[]
Ferrante the Fierce could be a reference to Ferrante Gonzaga I, an Italian condottiero, member of the House of Gonzaga and the founder of the branch of the Gonzaga of Guastalla.
