Tzarina Katarin of Kislev, wielding her magical blade Fearfrost.
The magical sword Fearfrost, also called Frost Fang, is a magical heirloom weapon of the Tzardom of Kislev, and is currently wielded by Tzarina Katarin, the Ice Queen of Kislev.[3a][4a]
The sword is infused with Ice Magic, and a single scratch can lead to death from the intense cold. Indeed, waves of icy chill visibly radiate from the weapon, even when not in use.[3a][4a]
History[]

The fearsome warblade known as Fearfrost is said to have been forged by the ancient Khan-Queen Miska herself, who led her people the Gospodars in crossing the Worlds Edge Mountains to conquer the lands that would one day become Kislev.[4a] Before disappearing into the Chaos Wastes, Miska left Fearfrost in the hands of her successor as khan-queen, her daughter Shoika. Shoika would go on to complete the conquest of Kislev, adopting the new title of tzarina.[4b]
The blade has since been passed from tzarina to tzarina as a symbol of queenship, and may only be lifted by a tzarina. Were a man to lift the blade, he would be frozen to death instantly.[3a][4a]
Canon Conflict[]
In Warhammer Armies: Dwarfs (4th Edition), it is said that it was the Dwarf Runesmith Alaric the Mad who forged Fearfrost for Miska.[2] This no longer coincides with more recent canon, as Miska and Alaric are separated by almost 1,500 years of difference.
