Emmelbad is an Imperial city under the rule of Count Ziminski.[1a]
Recently two rivals, Prince Harald Stigvasson and Count Ziminski fought bloodily for the rule of the settlement. Ultimately Ziminski won against the prince with the support of the Braganza's Besiegers, a mercenaries company specialized in siege warfare. Stigvasson escaped into exile in the Border Princes and subsequently tried unsuccessfully to set up a mercenary army to recapture Emmelbad.[1a]
