Egarl Bloodhard was the Norscan Champion of Nurgle who in 1722 IC besieged the town of Zorastra in Tilea with his plague fleet.[3a][2b][1a]
His army was kept at bay by the excellent sea defences protecting the port. Then, inspired by Nurgle, the fleet's Shaman-Sorcerers fed plague-ridden meat to seabirds that nested in the city, and soon Zorastra suffered an outbreak of disease. Refugees who fled the city undid the chain gates that kept the reavers at bay, and Zorastra was sacked by the followers of Chaos.[2b][3a]
Canon Conflict[]
Egarl Bloodhard was named "Erghal Bloodhard" in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition: Up in Arms by mistake. This error was corrected in the updated version of the book in August 2022.[2a]
