Lord Dramalliel was a High Elf Noble, probably hailing from the Fortress of Dawn.[1b] He was defeated at Battle of Anurell's Tomb, fighting against a Chaos Dwarf slaving expedition south of the Plain of Bones.[1a]

In 2493 IC he led a force from the Fortress of Dawn to discover whether the monolith located by an expedition south of the Plain of Bones was truly Anurell's tomb, and to recover his body as well as the fabled Navigation Stone.[1b]
As the advance guard under the command of Eldril reached the site, they were attacked by a strong force of Hobgoblins. After a bitter struggle in which many High Elves were lost, the foul creatures were driven back and a messenger was sent back to the main force to hasten their march before the Hobgoblins regrouped and attacked again. The remaining Elf defenders waited for word from the main body of troops, but as dawn broke, they found themselves under attack by the Chaos Dwarfs. Fortunately, not long after the Asur also heard Lord Dramalliel's warcry as he arrived with his main force.[1b]
In the subsequent battle, Dramalliel and his Griffon Nightwing faced off against Sorcerer-Prophet Zhrazak and his Lammasu, destroying both. Nonetheless, the Battle of Anurell's Tomb ended in a pyrrhic victory for the Chaos Dwarfs, who took control of the monolith and the Navigation Stone and forced the Elves to retreat from the field.[1b]
