The town of Drakenburg was a small community deep within the province of Middenland in the dense woods of the Drakwald Forest.[1a]
The simple life of the villagers was shattered on the day a one-eyed Bonegrinder Giant, known by locals as the Drakwald Cyclops, emerged from the forest and destroyed the town. The only survivor of the massacre was the huntsman Markus Wulfhart, who hunted down and killed the beast in vengeance. He has since began to hunt down any such monsters to prevent any other village in the The Empire from suffering Drakenburg's fate.[1a]
