Diamanterra is a great port city located on the west cost of Estalia in the kingdom of Obregon, surrounded by the Céfiro Hills and the Piña Wood.[1a]
Game History[]
Diamanterra was originally a fan-made settlement created by the freelance writer Alfred Nuñez Jr.. The village was mentioned for the first time in the computer game Man O' War: Corsair, and confirmed in Warhammer canon with the release of Warhammer: The Old World.[3]
At the time of the release of Man O' War: Corsair only Bilbali and Magritta were considered canon kingdoms of Estalia. So Diamanterra was shown as a settlement under Bilbalian influence. The plot of the single-player campaign in Man O' War: Corsair is set in the year 2517 IC and all information about Diamanterra thus comes from that era.[2a][2b]
More information about Diamanterra can be found on Alfred Nuñez Jr.'s website, but the canonicity of this additional lore has not yet been confirmed by Games Workshop.
Trivia[]
Diamanterra means "land of the diamonds" in Italian, suggesting that the area where the city is erected could be rich in those gems.
