Daverion is an High Elf prince and mercenary general who considered the use of the Giants of Albion in the hills of Trantio by the enemy leader - a certain Ranaldo - to be "unsportsmanlike". He concluded that Albion was best left unexplored.[1a]
There is no information about whose service Daverion and his opponent were in this confrontation or when it took place. However, the events must have happened after the arrival of the giants and Hengus the Druid in Tilea.[1a]
He wielded the magical Blade of Sea Gold.[1a]
On another occasion, however, he himself hired the giants for an expedition that he undertook at the head of an army of Ulthuan and accompanied by the mage Avour.[1a]
